Asthma clinic
Held weekly to help in understanding and self management of asthma and in the proper use of treatment devices. Attendance is recommended at least once a year. Contact a practice nurse for details.
Well person check
By appointment with practice nurses. To promote health and to screen for certain conditions including male/female health checks, blood pressure and weight reduction.
Cervical smears
We strongly recommend all women between the ages of 25 and 65, who have ever been sexually active, to have a cervical smear every three to five years dependent on age. Please call on the appointment line to book these.
If you have a recall it very rarely means anything serious. Usually it is because you have a minor infection or your smear shows inflammation that requires to be observed until it settles down.
